Taking 2 facts into account:
Security holes will be used earlier or later // DLJ is not availble any longer.
The logic behind ? If it's not upgradeable via package-Managment it has to be removed from the partner repository. I think a careful evaluation and consideration should be taken into account.
The remaining options are OpenJava or manual installation of Sun-Java
