in search box, cursor not displayed correct

Bug Description
When you click the search box, the cursor is not displayed.
If you start typing, the cursor is still gone.
If you select the text you have just entered, the cursor is shown.
It does not disappear as it should if the focus is lost from the search box.
This was tested with the current trunk #2920 on ubuntu oneiric
