Bug Description
I have now updated 4 machines (11.04 to 11.10), and all have lost their WiFi-passwords (at least on KDE). And when I re-enter the WiFi-passwords, they still don't remember. I need to enter the passwords under 'Manage Connections ...' or they will still be lost.
[I know this is much less worse than what other reported about 'no WiFi' after the upgrade, but still ... . It *is* a piece of crap when one has collected some dozen passwords and they are all gone. A mistake.]
Secondly, the display of 'Manage Connections ...' (Configure - KDE Control Module) is on crack. It shows arbitrary values of 'Last Used', like 4 minutes here and now, when I have been online for some hours, and under 'Wired', for example, it shows 'Last Used' as 6 hours, when it didn't even have had a cable (not to mention connection) plugged in for a couple of months.
If (k)ubuntu wants to conquer anything more than a nerds' marketshare, things like this must simply not happen. Not when one upgrades from KDE 4.6 to KDE 4.7, at no cost.
