The crash occurred when I attempted to copy a file from the UbuntuOne folder to the Documents folder after the latter opened.

It happens every time I visit one of "standard" forlder, I mean ("Pictures", "Document", etc.) in my home folder. Crashes started after last update.

same for me --> visit "standard" folders.

Reproduce it with: open home folder from launcher --> double click on "Pictures" or "Desktop" etc. --> nautilus window closes

As a (bad) workaround, you can remove ubuntuone-client gnome temporarily until this bug is sorted out.
Note: i dont use the UbuntuOne service

sudo apt-get remove ubuntuone-client-gnome

After removing it nautilus no longer crashes while browsing common folders. (and browsing is a bit faster)

Looks like this is related to LP 804946 which was supposedly fixed in libglib, however this looks like the same bug.

Actually pcmanfm is a lot like nautilus but lighter and faster, so just use that until the issue with nautilus is fixed would be my recomendation

This is just to confirm the problem still exists, it only seems to affect the 64bit version on both my desktop and my laptop but not the 32bit version I have in Virtual Box under Windows XP on the desktop, that may be relevant.

fwiw, I had both both ubuntuone-client-gnome package and nautilus-dropbox installed. I reinstalled both ubuntuone-client-gnome and nautilus-dropbox and things no longer crash
