Bug Description
If you contact syncdaemon very soon after it starts, it returns an empty list of UDFs, because it has not gotten it from the server yet.
It should be changed so it returns a value that signals it doesn't yet have the data, and later emits a signal notifying the clients that it's ready to answer questions about UDFs.
