Bug Description
Then selecting/Checking "Show MenuBar", does nothing (its shown already).
Then again, it really hides (as should be in the beginning) and the menu point is unchecked.
Seems as if the menubar visibility is bound to the manual menu selection (instead of reading from settings) ?

To clarify, after disabling the 'Show menubar by default in new terminals' option in the default profile, new terminals pop up with a menu bar. At this point, 'Show menubar' is unchecked in the view menu. Selecting 'Show menubar' from the menu checks/activates the option in the menu. Selecting/ deactivating once more via the menu turns the menu bar off for good.
Launching gnome-terminal with the following options also has no affect:
$ gnome-terminal --hide-menubar
$ gnome-terminal --hide-menubar --disable-factory
