Netbeans menu should be in the global unity menu, but instead of that it is in the application window just like in the previous Ubuntu versions (10.10-).

Ubuntu is coming with a new user interface named Unity, which includes a new application launcher. It is already the default in 10.10 for the NetBook edition, it will be the Ubuntu Default from 11.04.
It would be nice if the IDE installer detected if Unity is installed and automatically added an icon to the launcher toolbar. It is pretty easy to do (a file must be created and another XML file must be changed), I described a manual configuration on my blog:
