Bug Description
Hi,
even when I put nosplash onto the boot options command line which is currently
BOOT_IMAGE=
(also tried several vga=... modes)
but ubuntu 10.04 LTS server insists on putting the console of my server machine into some weird graphical modes, display splash images and choose resolutions that my monitors cannot display properly (parts of the screens are cut and outside the visible area).
How would I get rid of all this graphical crap and just have a plain old simple compatible 80x25 BIOS-like console? It's a server machine...
regards
