Bug Description
I have installed Lernid 0.8.1.4 from Lernid PPA on Ubuntu 11.04. When you connect into Lernid there is info in status-bar: "Select the Session tab to see classroom learning material". This info is confusing, because by default Session tab is already selected.

I would agree with this. One thing that might be interesting to do would be to have the status bar briefly (only for a few seconds) display a description of what the current tab does. This description would only be displayed the first time the user switches to a tab. So instead of, "Select the Session tab to see classroom learning material", it might say, "In the Session tab, you can see the text, slides, and web content of the session and ask questions".
I am also unable to confirm, but if grofaty did an exact quote, 'lerning' should be 'learning'.
