In Lucid, copying from calc to writer fails if calc filename contains special characters

Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. in Ubuntu Lucid, start OpenOffice.org calc, enter some data and save as á.ods
2. open or start a new writer document.
3. select some cells from the calc document and try to paste it.
Result: nothing happens
Expected result: cells are copied to the writer document.
This is reported *and fixed* upstream if I understand http://
