Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:
1. in Ubuntu Lucid, start OpenOffice.org calc, enter some data and save as á.ods
2. open or start a new writer document.
3. select some cells from the calc document and try to paste it.

Result: nothing happens
Expected result: cells are copied to the writer document.

This is reported *and fixed* upstream if I understand http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=106861 correctly

Hi,

The fact that a different office suite doesn't display the same erratic
behavior, is not the point I was trying to make. It's is still an
unfixed bug in openoffice.org in lucid. If this bug is not going to be
fixed (which seems unfortunate but reasonable), please mark it as
wontfix instead of fix released.

Wouter

[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to allow cross pollination.
