Evolution - after upgrading Ubuntu 11.04 could not send receive emails on pop3

After upgrading everything seems to be ok with ubuntu and regarding the evolution I have got my folders and contact addresses but I'm not able to send nor receive emails. When I click on Sens/Receive Messages the server doesn't ask me for any password and the only message I see is "getting messages (0% completed)"
I think this problem is reported as bug 773908, is there any patch or fix for this problem?
I really need my email because of my work so any help would be appreciated.
