Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

on multiple requests for software installs, the first package hung, never completed, and all other packages stayed in queue, inactive.

Thanks for the report. Unfortunately, there isn't enough information here for us to tell what the problem is.

If you still experience the problem, could you please trigger it once, and then attach these files:
/var/log/dpkg.log
/var/log/apthistory.log
/var/log/syslog
