Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

This might be corelated to bug 687567, but I'm not sure. I just tried 11.04 beta1 live CD (with just the default drivers), and encoutered a very annoying glitch: the global menu was flickering so much that it was hard to read anything while moving the mouse. If I position the mouse over the menu and don't move it (Tools, for example), it shows like it should. Every time I move it (even for just a pixel or two), some other menu (File for example) is displayed for a fraction of a second, and then back to Tools menu. The result is terrible flickering while slowly moving mouse over global menus. This happend with all programs I tried (Nautilus, Firefox,...). It also may be video driver related. HW: Asus P5B Deluxe, E6750, 2GB RAM, Radeon 4870
