Bug Description
Binary package hint: edubuntu-live
The Edubuntu installer currently offers Unity as an installation option and explains that it's meant to be for netbooks and smaller displays.
The role of Unity has changed since the previous release and it has been updated in the edubuntu-live (11.03.4) package to the following description:
"The Unity interface aims to bring together visual design, analysis of user experience testing and modern graphics technologies to provide a light and elegant way to use your PC. This is the default user interface on Ubuntu. If unselected, the Ubuntu Classic Desktop will be enabled."
Please allow a UI freeze exception for this package to allow this change.
The ubuntu-doc mailing list will be notified of this change once accepted.
