Bug Description
Ubuntu 10.04.2 (Lucid), with latest updates, still uses Nautilus 2.30.1 ..
If attempt to copy files using Nautilus, to another host, the date/time of files are NOT preserved.
This occurred when attempting transferring of user files to a NEW PC (with fresh install of Ubuntu 10.10, w/ Nautilus 2.23.0).
Workaround: Use new PC (with Ubuntu 10.10 & Nautilus 2.32.0) instead, which DOES preserve date/times.
NOTE: This should be fixed for currently supported LTS release (10.04).

IMHO, Bug #215499 was not properly resolved.
IMHO, Bug #319063 should have addressed this, OR been changed to next LTS release (from Intrepid).
