Bug Description

After using indicator-appmenu, some applications don't show their menubar even when the applet and gnome-panel aren't running. This can be fixed by exporting UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0.

So I see two applications not having a menu at http://askubuntu.com/questions/23562/why-cant-i-see-the-menubar-in-some-applications, audacity and wxmaxima. Audacity should be handled in bug #662077 and wxmaxima problem is bug #667611.

As both of these applications are using wxwidgets I'll mark this as duplicate of bug #662077.
