Spliting between volume fades breaks

Bug Description
If you create a volume fade and then split in between the fade and make a gap, the gap is not heard.
Reproduce:
1. Important an audio file.
2. Select and make a long fade.
3. Play.
4. Stop and split in the middle of the fade and seperate the clips.
5. Now play, there is no gap.
