Bug Description
Hi,
We have now the autohide function for the Unity launcher.
I think it's time to use that feature by default.
Or we wait for the perfect global menu support (application name and window buttons on the top panel... etc.)?
I think it's too easy to show the launcher, when it's hidden. The buttons on the window border (currently in full screen) are too close to the Ubuntu button and we need to think about those people, who are remove the indicator-appmenu in the future. Maybe the GNOME Shell solution is worked here to. We need three function:
1. If I want to click on the Ubuntu button anywhere, the launcher is show up.
2. If I move the mouse cursor to the left edge of the screen, or exactly to the left top corner, the launcher show up.
3. Hotkey solution.

Auto-hide can get turned on by default as soon as the Unity team think
it's working sweetly. As for the issues y ou raise, such as how the
launcher is brought to view, they are defined in the spec and will be
implemented shortly I'm sure.
