Bug Description
Binary package hint: abiword
If you change the palette of colors that Abiword uses to highlight words, ie toolbar -> Highlight -> Change Highlight Color, any changes you make to the palette are forgotten the next time you open the document. Inspection shows that the palette is not stored either in the document or in the .AbiSuite directory.
A possible solution is to reconstruct the palette from the colors found in the document, when you open it.
