Bug Description

Binary package hint: usb-modeswitch

With the usb-modeswitch 1.1.4 there is a race condition with usb-storage while usb_modeswitch is switching device configuration. The issue is also reported upstream and a working patch exists. Please see http://www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/bb/viewtopic.php?t=385 for more information.

I have tried the patch with the source package from Ubuntu and it works perfect.

Hi Armit,

thanks for this patch. I applied it and just uploaded 1.1.4-2 to Debian unstable. A sync will probably be done soon.
