Bug Description
uhm... well i have tested application menu and tried to make some screenshots for bugreporting purposes, but it is not possible.
the only way, how you can make a printscreen picture of opened menus, is schedule delay in screenshoter applet for few seconds, then click on take screenshot and rush to open some menus for printscreen before time is up...
immediatelly after is printscreen taken and dialog to save picture pop-ups, entire GNOME desktop freezes and you are finished. only way from here is press ALT+F1 and then sudo service gdm restart.
note: tested in maverick 32bit with standard GNOME desktop(not Unity shell), Intel graphics (Q45 chipset - GMA X4500) with Compiz or without Compiz, behaviour is always the same :(
the issue is in gtk itself iirc. bug 542596 is on a related topic
