Bug Description
Binary package hint: xmame-x
Running xmame, I get:
$ xmame
GLINFO: loaded OpenGL library libGL.so!
GLINFO: loaded GLU library libGLU.so!
GLINFO: glColorSubTableEXT (2): not implemented !
XDGAOpenFramebuffer failed
Use of DGA-modes is disabled
error: compiled byte ordering doesn't match machine byte ordering.
compiled for MSB first, are you sure you chose the right cpu in makefile.unix?
I checked this was nothing to do with my configuration my renaming my ~/.xmame directory temporarily, which gave the identical error message.
This was all working just before I upgraded from lucid.

This is also a problem with xmess-x, and xmame-sdl. Basically, xmame is broken.
At first I thought the fix was mame (aka sdlmame) but that turns out to run too slowly, so it's not a real solution for me yet. A working xmame would therefore be nice...
