Bug Description

Hello all,
I just downloaded the last version (5.0.14) and the last addons version. Now, when I launch my server with the option --update=all, I get the following error :

Hello Arnaud,

I followed the same procedure that you have specified, but the behavior is normal and the error does not come up at our end.

I would like to request you to upgrade your code may be some modifications would have made at your side which caused the system to crash.

If still you're getting the error can you just provide the list of modules that you have installed.

Thanks.

Hello,
I checked the table res_currency and there, there was not line with the INR currency defined. So I manually added a new line with the id = 20 (important) and code = INR.

Now, the update is made without any problem. So, would it be good, rather the the system crash, to re-create the missing entry in the res_currency table ?

Thanks

Hello forstera,

At my end the record INR exists in the database table res_currency. I created a new db and checked the table and here i have attached the screen shot that I have taken. It might have happen that the entry would have been deleted somehow at your end so it's not seen in the table.

I would like to request you to create a new fresh db and check if the entry is being created or not.

Thanks.

affects: openobject-addons → openobject-server

Hello Anup,

I completely agree with you, someone here had to manually delete this record. So, no problem for me with that. I'm just wondering, if this happens again, instead of crashing the system, that the missing currency is re-created in the res_currency table.

Thanks

Hello Arnaud,

These records are demo data and we can not force undelete operation on them. As its not mandatory that each and every client will be using it.

Thanks.
