'there is 1 error' confusing when error hidden

Bug Description
I filed a new merge proposal with a prerequisite branch. I mispelt the branch.
The form came back to me with:
- 'there is 1 error' at the top
- the extra options bit closed, so I couldn't easily see the error.
It would be nice to expand that section if it has errors, and nicer still to provide links to the error fields to fill them in.
