Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Here is whats happening:

Stopping postfix greylisting daemon: postgrey.
db4.7_upgrade: Program version 4.7 doesn't match environment version 4.8
db4.7_upgrade: DB_ENV->open: DB_VERSION_MISMATCH: Database environment version mismatch
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/postgrey_1.32-4_all.deb (--unpack):
 subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 1
...

this causes the unpack to fail and this causes the subsequent configure to fail. This is not a dpkg/apt bug
but a bug in the postgrey package (or in the db handling code).
