Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
I upgraded my system from 10.04 to 10.10 a week ago, and suddenly I have no visible mouse pointer. Not with the synaptics touch pad, nor with an external usb-connected mouse.
The mouse pointer still moves around: icons are highlighted when I run the mouse across them, and all buttons still work as they should. (I've enabled some accessibility setting to highlight my pointer whenever I hit Ctrl, so I can still use the mouse to some degree.)
This used to work in 10.04.
If there's anything more I can provide to help sort this out, let me know. Thanks for all your hard work!

Yeah, and in case you get too interested in the gdm and xorg config and logs. Don't. I start Xorg with startx, since my primary Xorg fails. (That's #619990)
So please disregard those files.
