Bug Description

Binary package hint: apport

I was playing a song in Rhythmbox and importing some files and it crashed although it didn't stop working.

After I while I ran "top" (as Rhythmbox wasn't playing those files smoothly) and I noticed that "apport" was using 100% of my CPU.

I used System Monitor, stopped apport.

I forgot to add that this happens in Ubuntu Edgy 6.10

apport takes a while to collect all necessary data. How long did you wait? Which version of apport do you use? Can you please attach /var/log/apport.log? Can you reproduce this issue, and if so, describe the recipe here?

Unfortunately I can't reproduce the issue but I can attach the /var/log/apport.log
