Bug Description

When selecting set location , only the files inside the folder are moved but not the folder itself.

What I did was the following:

1- Downloaded a torrent.

2- Changed the location of the download torrent (Set location).

3- The files are moved but not the parent folder.

I can also add that the parent folder is deleted after the files are moved.

So exactly, what is wrong?

1. Folder1 contains f1, and f2
2. Set Location to Folder2
3. f1 and f2 are being moved for Folder2
4. Once the files are moved, Folder1 is deleted.

For me, this is the expected behavior.

The only case where the original folder is not deleted is if there are still files in it (unsafe).

qBittorrent and libtorrent-rasterbar work on files, and if you change the location of a torrent, I will actually have to change the location of each file in the torrent.

Wouldn't it be easier to move folder1 from A to B.
Imagine that ,

1: Folder1 contains 100 zip files.
2: Folder2 already has some zip files with the same name there.
3: Files from Folder1 will collide with Files in Folder2 and create a huge mess.
4: How would I know which Files came from which torrent.

or

A) Folder1 contains 5 images and folder2 has 1000 images , if I moved the 5 images to the Folder that contains 1000 images , how would I find them?

Lets say that you have 2 folders the have the same name files

Folder 1: f1, f2, f3

Folder 2: f1, f2 ,f3

When they are moved the files have the same name

How I am I suppose to tell the diffrence between them

I download tons of file every day how can I manage that

This also causes trouble with some private trackers as some of them require
The folder and all its files to be shared
Meaning that when I change the directory using (set location)
It will not be accepted with the tracker

When I choose "set location" from the right click menu (when clicking on a torrent), the change is not reflected on the "General" tab under "Information" under "Save Path". Whats worse is the change is not made at all. If I set a location for the file, the file should be moved to that location, and this is not happening.

Example:
1. A file named T1 is currently in location A.
2. I chose to set its location (using the "set location" right click menu) to location B.
I note that the change is not reflected in the "General" tab, under "Information", under "Save Path".
3. I choose to "Open Destination Folder" from the left click menu to see if the file is at location B.
It is not, and this operation opens location A.

Likewise if I change the "Save Path" under "Information" on the "General" tab the same problem occurs, and still occurs even if I change both "set location" and "Save Path" together to point to the same location B, all files and folders remain at location A.

I'm not sure how you got yours to work but my version of qBittorrent does just as I have described above.
Note: I'm using v.2.3.0 on Ubuntu 10.04 64bit.
