This bug to split bug #600951 in two. Perl currently FTBFS in Ubuntu maverick due to some tests failing:

I uploaded perl earlier today, and it built fine; seems unreproducible?

I'm unable to reproduce this with the latest perl. Marking as fixed, but if this crops back up, please feel free to reopen it.

Not reproducible, closing for now.

If someone reproduces, please provide details on your environment; perhaps it's the linux-virtual kernel package causing this or something?
