Bug Description

Is it possible to revert the behaviour of this plugin so that I can use the standard lightning accept/decline/tentative buttons found normally? This will allow colleagues to see that I have accepted a meeting.

When I do create a meeting I am unable to notify users when I move it. "Notify Users" is greyed out.

I did not deal with meeting notifications at all yet. I'd appreciate any help on this part.

What do you mean by "revert the behavior"? Did this work in some version before?

Meeting notifications are being sent for me, but I did not look into the processing of incoming meeting notifications.

Without the exchange provider installed lightning displays buttons in the header of the email to send/email a notification to the meeting creator. This would then send an email and the creator would register my acceptance to the meeting.
When I installed the exchange provider I no longer get the buttons or option to notify the meeting creator.

It would be good if I could have the functionality of the notify buttons.

Let me know if I can test anything

thunderbird 3.0.4 and provider for microsoft exchange version 0.4

this had the same behaviour and also tested with thunderbird 3.1.
The change( no accept buttons) happens when you add an exchange calendar. the buttons still appear if you have the provider installed and no exchange calendar setup.

Thanks for making progress further also on this:

The fix for bug 607348 does make the ACCEPT/TENTIVE/DECLINE buttons reappear - great!
But when hitting accept - there's an error thrown:

41c8bc00-ab44-4796-8123-9aa1c9ddb936/myCal: Error: ErrorInvalidIdMalformed msg: Id is malformed.
41c8bc00-ab44-4796-8123-9aa1c9ddb936/myCal: fail status: 200 Id is malformed.

Seems like the invite ID gets messed up - in this case it was a non-reoccuring event that shoudl have been "accepted"

Thanks.

When opening the event and selecting "I will attend" from the dropdown - no error is raised.

That is strange. Could you show the CreateItem message produced?

I tried to recreate w/ meeting what caused the above - no success - seemed to work, think as it was already accepted (through the drop down)

Uisng another - repeating event i did get this:

Error: [Exception... -----------
For the "CreateItem message" is there a place i should add a this.sdbg line ?

can we open a new bug for this new exception, including the steps how to reproduce it?

Regarding #8, can you just post the request that is sent immediately before the "41c8bc00-ab44-4796-8123-9aa1c9ddb936/myCal: Error: ErrorInvalidIdMalformed msg: Id is malformed." message?
