Bug Description
Binary package hint: software-center
STR:
- install Lucid
- open the software center
- try to install gnome-do
- realize you need to install a repository, and click the "Use this source" button
Nothing happens. The button depresses, but no error is thrown.
This is because my internet connection is not yet up, because I just installed the new OS. If it needs a connection, and lacks it, it should inform the user. I'd suggest however, that enabling a repository shouldn't actually NEED a connection, but rather, using that repo should.

Had the same problem on a Precise daily build (booted from usb). The difference was that even though I was connected to wifi, it was a public network and I hadn't authenticated with the proxy.
