Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Reproducible test case (email and name anonymized):
1. Create a new message:
2. Type everything into the 'to:' field between square brackets: [J. Paul Turner <email address hidden>]
3. Click Send
4. Look in your sent folder (or outbox)
5. The To: field was been reformatted to J.PaulT <urner <email address hidden>>

I tried this with multiple valid emails, and it worked every time with the version of evolution I have installed. This error also happened when selecting the "to:" from my address book.

thank you for your bug report, that seems to be bug #595867, what evolution-data-server version do you use?

Changed in evolution (Ubuntu):

I agree this does seem to be a duplicate of bug #595867

This is a duplicate of the other bug. The other bug was fixed:
Latest release: 2.30.2-0ubuntu3, uploaded to main on 2010-06-28 10:30:11.675260+00:00 by Didier Roche (didrocks), maintained by Ubuntu Development Team (ubuntu-dev)

So once this is pushed to the lucid-updates I will be happy. Until then its broken as far as I am concerned.
