Bug Description
Fresh Install. Everything is clean.
All new hardware, everything is clean.
10.04 = problem - X server will not shut down among other issues I believe.
9.04 = No problems like this.
I cannot even manually install the drivers in 10.04 (or any distro based upon Ubuntu 10.04) because I cannot manually shut down X server - the commands apparently changed going into 10.04 with no luck finding what they changed to via Google. - among other hurdles.
