Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a '.crash' file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer.

If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart.

If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit.

If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report.
I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

I can confirm that I have the same issue with Rhythmbox crashing with a seg fault and that uninstalling rhythmbox-ubuntuone-music-store allowed it to start and run normally!

Cheers

I get this problem when I start rhythmbox without an internet connection:-

Code:

** (rhythmbox:8127): DEBUG: Loading the real store page
** (rhythmbox:8127): DEBUG: navigation requested to https://one.ubuntu.com/music/store-no-token
Segmentation fault

and then rhythmbox dies

With an internet connection, I get:-

Code:
(rhythmbox:8246) Rhythmbox-WARNING **: Could not open device /dev/radio0
Rhythmbox: could not connect to socket
Rhythmbox: No such file or directory
** (rhythmbox:8246): DEBUG: Loading the real store page

** (rhythmbox:8246): DEBUG: navigation requested to file:///usr/share/libubuntuone/1/javascript/load_error.html?https://one.ubuntu.com/music/store-no-token

and rhythmbox loads and behaves normally.

I also can confirm. I removed rhythmbox-ubuntuone-music-store and I still got a seg fault until I removed rhythmbox-plugins. Now it runs.

FYI - the errors I was getting before I removed above:

Device 0 (VID=05ac and PID=1293) is UNKNOWN.
Please report this VID/PID and the device model to the libmtp development team

Note that I got rhythmbox to run when I removed rhyrhmbox-plugins but I can't really use it without the plugins. It is not a viable workaround.
