Bug Description

Binary package hint: f-spot

I have Casio Exilim camera, with 2GB SD card. It is mass storage formatted as FAT. It used to work, but now i am unable to import any new photos from card. I simply choose import from fspot, and from devices i choose SD card entry. It fails before i choose import, on generating preview at first photo.

It does the same if i choose to import photos using fspot after inserting the card, also if i click import toolbar.

and i forgot most important,

$ f-spot --version
F-Spot 0.6.1.5 - (c)2003-2009, Novell Inc
Personal photo management for the GNOME Desktop

Ubuntu 9.10, up-to-date today.

Ok, i found problem inside, there are problem if inside database are entries with not existing files. I used cleaner from http://michaeljaylissner.com/blog/script-to-cleanup-fspot-database and import seems to be ok.
