Return/Enter/Tab in "Assign to" field selects it even if empty

Bug Description
If I (re)assign a bug to myself, selecting the "Me" radiobutton, and then try to save that change by pressing Enter while in the assignee field, the bug incorrectly gets reassigned to nobody.
A similar problem occurs when tabbing through the "Assigned to" field, from the "Product/Package" field to the Comment field or vice versa: the mere act of tabbing causes the radiobutton next to the assignee field to be selected when it shouldn't be.
If the assignee field is empty, the radiobutton next to it should never be selected.
