Bug Description
Recently my girlfriend, having Ubuntu Dapper, wanted to watch a DVD. Since she dislikes Totem, she started VLC. And here began problems, cause she couldn't find out, how to play a DVD. There were some "play disk" tab, but it was full of spaces to fill, which scared her, and furthermore clicking OK wasn't enough.
My request is for VLC to come preconfigured so that a newbie could without problems view her/his movies. Moreover - all those input like device to use, track to begin with, etc. should go inot advanced menu - poor girl didn't know that /dev/dvd is the same as her DVD drive (well, she didn't know about the existence of /dev/dvd).
