Bug Description
This is a nice tool to distribute batch-tasks on several cores on multi-core processors:
http://
(Ex: reencoding several movies or mp3's ...)
It would be nice to add this tool into a package.

It's way too late to get this into Lucid. Why don't you try to get this into Debian? Ubuntu can then sync from Debian for Lucid+1 and get this package. Also, if it's in Debian more distros can use it. In any event, make sure you follow the new package guideline for Ubuntu [1].
