Binary package hint: ubiquity
These are the logs for bug 543801; I couldn't get Launchpad to find it, so my only option was to create a new bug.
MythBuntu 10.04 Beta 1, installing a 'Primary Backend' only (and of course no remote control) hangs at 82%, every time I install.

(Copying my comments from the original defect, #543801):
Installing Mythbuntu 10.04 Beta 1. I am installing a standalone Backend, which doesn't have a remote control (no surprise there). Installation goes fine up to the 82% mark, then hangs displaying "Configuring Infrared Devices". This is on a system that runs 9.04 just fine. I tried the daily build a week ago (13 March) and it had the exact same bug, but I didn't know where to report daily build bugs.
Since this one will prevent just about anyone from building a Primary Backend, I think it should be a pretty high priority to fix.
If you have a daily build that you think fixes this and you would like me to test, please let me know.
