Bug Description
There is no way in the ubuntu-bug program to select which portions of information will be uploaded to Launchpad when reporting bugs.
I think this is silly -- npviewer.bin usually adds a few hundred lines of rubbish to my .xsession-errors file, and there's no way for me to _not_ send along the .xsession-errors file, even when I know that it isn't at all related to what's going on.
$ grep npviewer.bin .xsession-errors | wc -l
639
This helps no-one.
I appreciate the desire to collect good debugging info, but just taking everything every gui program ever spits out to stderr seems a bit too much to me. (Especially when reporting bugs against programs that aren't X clients..)
Maybe allow selecting lines to be sent along, maybe allowing regexp to include/exclude, maybe just a big checkbox for every item in the ubuntu-bug program window... Something more fine-grained than "I will report this bug via ubuntu-bug" vs "I will report this bug via launchpad manually" would be super.
