Bug Description
Binary package hint: gedit
(Sorry for my English, im not a English speaker)
Im Using Ubuntu Lucid Lynx Alpha3 with gedit 2.29.6
I find that the clipboard is clear after copy a text from an application, closing the application, launching gedit and trying to paste the previously copied text. This problem not only affects gedit, tomboy, firefox, etc are affected.
The steps to reproduce the error are:
1- Launch an application, for example gnome-terminal
2- Select some text and copy it
3- Close the application
4- Open gedit (Or tomboy for example)
5- Try to paste the text: the item "paste" in then context menu is disabled.
I fin that if another application "paste-capable" are running at the moment of copying the text and continues running at the moment of the "text pasting" this problem do not occur.
