Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

In the latest version of software-center in lucid i386, in System Packages the standard categories are listed in English, and there are other categories that are displayed in another language. They should also be displayed in English. My language is set to English (Canada) the version of software-center is 1.1.11.

Could you run "apport-collect software-center -u 519441" in terminal please. This will add the software center version and other useful info to the report.

open software center and go to system packages and scroll to the end and you will see there are a number of categories that are in another language.(tried on two systems)

Since software-center 1.1.15 the system packages category itself is also displayed in non-western characters. It will thus be noticed by a greater amount of users.

Confirming, indeed the main page now show characters in a different language. To me it seems to be Thai.

actually when I click on System packages software center halt for me.

now I managed to open system packages and its fixed but the scrolling is too slow due to large number of packages.
