Bug Description
Binary package hint: unison
When unison encounters a socket "/foo/bar" while scanning replicas, it complains with "Error: path /foo/bar has unknown file type." A simple fstat() call would enable unison to know that it's a socket which can't be replicated in any useful way, and thus automatically ignore it!

or it will be good to have an option to ignore files with specific file types
