Bug Description

It's a bit of a painful bloat because we are only using it for autologin into XFCE, and then it stays in memory. Better use xdm, or better boot straight into XFCE from init script.

The latest would be the best but how then this would influence installations made with ubiquity later on?

also comitted the changes to packages list in revision 338 (remove gdm from wm list, add slim).

slim does *not* work as something with its pam authentication is wrong, which in turn prevents RT apps like jack to assume prios granted by pam config files. other more minimal display managers don't work for reasons like not allowing auto-login at all (xdm, wdm).
