Bug Description

running:
dkms build -m nvidia -v 185.18.36 -k 2.6.33-rc2 --kernelsourcedir /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.33-rc2

gives me:
sudo dkms build -m nvidia -v 185.18.36 -k 2.6.33-rc2 --kernelsourcedir /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.33-rc2

Preparing kernel 2.6.33-rc2 for module build:
(This is not compiling a kernel, just preparing kernel symbols)
Storing current .config to be restored when complete
Running Generic preparation routine
make mrproper....(bad exit status: 2)
using /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.33-rc2/.config
(I hope this is the correct config for this kernel)
make oldconfig....
make prepare-all....(bad exit status: 2)

If you are using a Linux 2.4 kernel, please make sure
you either have configured kernel sources matching your
kernel or the correct set of kernel headers installed
on your system.

If you are using a Linux 2.6 kernel, please make sure
you have configured kernel sources matching your kernel
installed on your system. If you specified a separate
output directory using either the "KBUILD_OUTPUT" or
the "O" KBUILD parameter, make sure to specify this
directory with the SYSOUT environment variable or with
the equivalent nvidia-installer command line option.

Depending on where and how the kernel sources (or the
kernel headers) were installed, you may need to specify
their location with the SYSSRC environment variable or
the equivalent nvidia-installer command line option.

This happens because some headers were moved from include/linux to include/generated on 2.6.33. You also need to patch a changed ACPI function call to successfully build.

Is there a way to build the nVidia drivers? I want to upgrade to http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.33/ this for the SSD Trim support.

Any ideas?
