Bug Description
Binary package hint: vlc
This is a fresh install of Karmic. I am running the KDE desktop, and all repositories and branches are enabled (Universe, Multiverse, etc.) After several updates, VLC is still not listed, nor most of its plug-ins. I have tried using apt-get, adept, and synaptic, and none can find a package "vlc". I downloaded the Karmic release package, and tried to install it, and it complains of unmet dependencies, "vlc-nox" which it supposedly replaces. For now, I can not install VLC.
