Mixxx 1.7.1 "(bzr r2518; built on: Dec 8 2009 @ 23:26:08)
Linux version 2.6.31-16-generic (buildd@vernadsky) (gcc version 4.4.1 (Ubuntu 4.4.1-4ubuntu8) )
KDE 4.3.2
CPU: AMD Sempron(tm) 2400+ 1667MHz
Video: ATI Technologies Inc RV280 [Radeon 9200]
Sound: onboard

Steps:
1) Compile and install mixxx
2) Run mixxx
3) Mixxx screens opens for a split-second
4) Segmentation fault

This is a problem with your ATI Radion-based video card / driver setup and OpenGL ... refer to:
