Bug Description
Binary package hint: transmission
It would be great to be able to lock transmission with a password possibly with gnome-keyring if that's an appropriate use. Also, transmission could possibly one-up Deluge in this area by having an option to make certain torrents "hidden".

Heh. Back when ubuntu-desktop debated making Transmission its default BitTorrent client, that feature was cited as an example of Deluge's creeping featuritis -- /lists. ubuntu. com/archives/ ubuntu- desktop/ 2008-January/ 001375. html

It would be ironic, and probably ill-advised, for Transmission to add this feature on the Ubuntu desktop. ;)
