Bug Description

I have an openID (using a secure hardware dongle) that I want to use with UbuntuOne to secure my login. I don't trust launchpad-login and unsecure passwords. Its also very convenient to use the same secure single-sign-logon on all the services I use daily.
Is it possible to include UbuntuOne?

I would classify the lack of OpenID-possibilty as a bug.

Hi Anders, Thank you for taking the time to file this bug report. I think there may be plans to allow logging into Launchpad (and thus Ubuntu One) with other OpenID providers in the future. I'm going to mark this bug as a Wishlist item and also assign it to the appropriate SSO project that would enable this functionality. Thank you, Joshua

This is being considered for a future release. There may need to be restrictions or exceptions to which providers we accept, possibly depending on what site you're logging in to, but it is on our list. I'm marking this as a duplicate of bug #210943.
