Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
gnome-power-manager should not trigger additional notifications (via notify-osd), if screen-brightness is at minimum or maximum when the user keeps the brightness-down/up key pressed causing key-press events repeating.

I'm not sure if this is the problem I am having on my laptop as I cant cut through all this jargon.
Though I have a Samsung R480 with gnome-power-manager 2.30 installed.
When I press Fn + Up/Down Brightness keyboard event the brightness increases/decreases up or down until the brightness hits max or min. Though, it doesnt stop there action becomes stuck in a loop.
This sorta locks up the OS, as in I cannot click any menus or type into programs. Although it will allow me to switch to a tty and then switch back to the actual GUI session and then I regain back my normal OS functionality. Afterwards the Fn + Up/Down Brightness doesnt respond anymore.
